PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high grade high carbon vanadium-cementite alloyed cast iron sufficiently combining all the characteristics of corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and heat resistance, capable of improving impact resistance, by means of granulation or spheroidizing of carbides, even against the occurrence of deterioration in impact resistance due to crystallization of carbides in particular, and widely applicable to the fields of various industries, such as chemical industry and industrial machinery, requiring increased efficiency and function with industrial development. SOLUTION: This alloyed cast iron has a composition prepared by incorporating, as essential components, 0.6-6.5%, by weight, C, 0.2-3.0% Si, 0.2-1.0% Mn, 0.01-0.15% P, 0.01-0.05% S, 13-30% Cr, 4-15% Ni and 4-15% V into iron (Fe) as a principal component and further has a structure in which principally covalent bond granular or spheroidal V-C carbides or Fe-Cr carbides are crystallized.
