PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing method and a dust removing device of a cathode-ray tube capable of surely exerting the effect of a dust removing process with a simple structure to resolve a conventional problem that although dust such as dust and foreign matter remaining in a sealed bulb composed by welding a face panel to a funnel is discharged outside the bulb together with dry air jetted from an air nozzle inserted into the bulb by applying impact and vibration to the bulb, dust stuck to the bulb surface by static charge can not be removed, thereby the dust still remains in the bulb and a cathode-ray tube characteristic is deteriorated by the remaining dust.;SOLUTION: Static charge of the sealed bulb 14 composed by welding the face panel 11 to the funnel 12 is eliminated by discharging static electricity charged on the inside and outside surfaces of the bulb 14 to the earth by using a static eliminating means 21 and 25, and dust is raised by applying impact and vibration to the bulb 14 by using a hammer 17 or an ultrasonic vibrator 18 and discharged outside the bulb 14 together with exhaust of the dry air jetted from the air nozzle 26 inserted into the bulb 14 and thus, a dust removing process is carried out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
