PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe jacking machine, an adaptor and a pipe jacking method, which can prevent a rubber band joint of a jacked pipe from being loosened and disconnected, for example, even if the rubber band joint is not bonded, when the jacked pipes are jacked in ground while being sequentially coupled together.;SOLUTION: This pipe jacking machine has a leading body 16 which is to be joined to a spigot 12a at a tip of the leading jacked pipe (leading pipe) 12 by using a rubber band, and imparts a jacking force to the leading body 16 via a jacking force transfer rod 18 so as to jack the leading body 16 and the jacked pipe 12 which is jacked to the leading body 16. When the jacking force is imparted to the leading body 16, a reaction spring 22 imparts reaction to the jacked pipe 12, so that the mutually coupled jacked pipes 12 can be compressed in the direction of a pipe axis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
