PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to continuously execute the improving work at the bending part of a line and especially lessen the radius of curvature at the bend, when continuously improving the soil by a base machine provided with a cutter post. ;SOLUTION: A soil improvement machine is constituted of a base machine 1, a frame supported by the base machine 1 to support the leader 5 to freely slide horizontally, and a cutter post 6 supported by the leader 5, on which an endless chain is extended to freely circulate. The leader 5 is supported by the arms 14 and the hydraulic cylinder 15 protruded from the frame so as to be rotatable around the shaft parallel to the vertical frame 42 of the frame and rotated around the connection point to the arm 14 in accordance with the extension and contraction of the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
