PURPOSE: To provide a continuously annealed cold rolled steel sheet in which deep drawability and deep drawing brittleness resistance, which are the antinomy in an IF steel, are combined with each other and well balanced with each other. ;CONSTITUTION: A molten steel, which has a composition consisting of, by weight, ≤0.0030% C, 0.05-0.20% Mn, ≤0.05% Si, ≤0.02% P, ≤0.020% S, 0.025-0.06% sol.Al, ≤0.0030% N, 0.02-0.10% Ti, 0.0003-0.0010% B, and the balance Fe, is prepared and cast. Hot rolling is finished at 880-920°C so that 0.015X+0.09≤Y≤0.01X+0.21 Y=[ΣIn(ti-1/ti)/In(to/tn), i=n-2 to n-1, X=-In[(C/Ti*)B], and Ti*=Ti-(48/14)N-(48/32)S≥0 [where ti represents the thickness of a steel strip on the outlet side of the i-th stand of a continuous hot finisher) are satisfied.
