(57) Abstract Topic In the digital audio data logging and playback system, there are times when it tries to be able to search the digital audio data which is recorded to record medium at high speed. Solutions In order to search the audio data file from the 1st record medium where the digital audio data file is recorded, the directory database and the file database are constructed. The directory database includes the record position of information with the name of the directory and concerning the directory. The file database includes with indexed information as a name of the subordinate file of the directory and a record position of the subordinate file and a search key of the file.
