Automated clutch control for motor vehicle drive train involves learning process in which sampling point is stored for retrieval to regulate clutch engagement after learning process has been completed
The method involves operating the clutch, which is arranged between a drive engine and a gearbox, with an actuator controllable by a control unit. A learning process is carried out in which a sampling point or a value representing a sampling point is determined and stored in a memory in the control unit for retrieval to control the clutch after the learning process has been completed.
