Method for automatically recognizing blocks of text in a graphical file in which: a graphical file containing a multiplicity of instructions defining the position and content of text segments is supplied; the instructions are automatically analyzed to identify the linked text segments and; a readable object is automatically generated that can be read by a computer that defines position and content for a multiplicity of linked text segments to define a linked text block. Independent claims are made for a computer program product and a system for automatic recognition of blocks of text in a graphical file.
