Auxiliary paraglider motor comprises electric engine which is able to be switched on or off during flight to give a choice of powered or unpowered flight to the user
The auxiliary motor has a thermal or electric engine (1), micro-chassis (6), fuel or electrical energy storage unit (8), and foldable rotor (4). Motor does not have a cage or chassis. Motor also has elongated rotor shaft (3), and clutching system (5) allowing rotor to fold itself. Engine is able to be switched on or off during flight to give a choice of powered or unpowered flight to the user.
