Flight controller (1) comprises in addition to a command device (2) and actuators or rotors (RP, RQ) a means (MD) for determination of a command order that corresponds to a change in translational speed that is a function of the deflection of the command device. The translational speed is adjusted as long as the selected value is less than a reference value with the adjustment in translational speed corresponding to an adjustment in angular velocity or translational acceleration.
