Conventional film camera has an additional digital- imaging device for generating a digital image before a film-based image is recorded. The digital device comprises a CCD or CMOS sensor, a logic circuit and a visualization screen. The digital sensor is of reduced definition with a number of pixels equivalent to the small format screen incorporated in the device. The camera has two trigger buttons, one associated with recording a digital image, the other with recording a film image.
