The sheet guide device includes a guide unit (40) whose end (20) directed towards the contact point (16) between two interacting cylinders (14,15) is spaced in the direction of the second cylinder (15) from the tangent (19) to form an imaginary intersection point ( C) of the tangent with the guide plane (17). The end (21) of the guide unit directed away from the contact point extends at least up to a periphery region (22) of the sheet transport drum (13). The first cylinder is a print cylinder, the second cylinder a rubber blanket cylinder and the sheet transport drum is a turning or supply drum.
