Melt spinning equipment for production of multi-component threads has independently exchangeable melt distribution flanges with connected tubes for dividing melt flow
A nozzle plate(2) has underside outlets(8) connected to nozzle bores(13). Small tubes(11) extend into each bore and form inner core channels(9) and outer cover channels(10) fed with different melts by a distribution plate(3). Each tube has a distribution flange(12) below the distribution plate and flanges are clamped between the nozzle plate and distribution plate. Distribution flanges and tubes form individual units which can be independently exchanged.
