A computer aided diagnosis (CADx) method for supporting diagnosis with 3-dimensional digital image data, involves identifying 3-dimensional objects within 3-dimensional image data for a given 3-dimensional object, and determining the local rotational plane for the given object. The local rotational plane is then turned by a fraction of 360 deg C and a view of the given object is generated during given steps of the rotation, so that a number of views of the given object are obtained.
