Circular knitting machine for fabricating double knitting plush fabric, has jack disposed on upper needle dial to sandwich outer and inner sinker plates, and has sinker ring to drive sinker plates
A jack having two smooth lateral contact surfaces sandwich two sides of the coupled outer and inner sinker plates (1,2) and engages with the rear section of the upper needle dial. A sinker ring (3) having guide paths drives the outer and inner curl sinker plate to couple with a knitting needle (1A) to perform tucking and sinking loop operation for generating loop effect at both sides of plush fabric. The upper needle dial includes a front section and rear section which have respectively a slide groove for holding the outer and inner curl sinker plates. The outer curl sinker plate is coupled with the inner sinker plate to locate in the slide groove. The outer curl sinker plate has a thick belly section (11), small throat section (12), short nose section (13) and a lug (14) located at the rear end. The inner curl sinker plate has a thin belly section (21), a large throat section (22), a long nose section (23) and a lug (24) located at the rear end. The sinker ring and the curl sinker plates are prevented from hitting each other.
