Method uses electromagnetic waves in microwave spectrum from 1800-3800 MHz to irradiate living pests within a sterilizing device. Invention also relates to a device for carrying out method comprising a rotating, porous, grid-type drum made of microwave resistant material. Inside of the drum is lines with microwave reflecting material. Clothes or bedclothes are placed in the drum for sterilizing.
