System for contact management between service or goods providers (A), searchers (S) and intermediaries (V) using a communication network, especially the Internet. Accordingly data records are selected from a database evaluated and transmitted to the searcher. The selection can also be made on the basis of service or work time and location. A number of evaluation criteria are used and weighed according to importance so that an overall search value index is obtained by which the search results are sorted. The search list is then transmitted to the searcher. Based on the usefulness of the matching list the evaluation criteria can be modified.
