The system has at least two units connected via a bus. A unit that outputs data onto the bus interrupts data output if one, several or all units output certain data onto the bus simultaneously or in reserved phases. The number of time slots reserved for transmitting a defined data quantity in phases in which one, several or all units can output data while a unit is outputting data is at least partly greater than would otherwise be the case
