The diagnosis system to detect the presence of prions uses a micro-particle (1) with an antibody (2) specific to prion-protein (3), and a flow cytometer. The diagnosis system, to detect prions, has a second antibody (4) specific to a prion-protein for detection. The antibody has at least one fluorescent marker (5). The micro-particle is paramagnetic, with a diameter of 0.1-8.0 mu m. The system has at least one further antibody against a native prion-protein. Two types of micro-particles are used, in terms of size and color. The system can use a polyclonal or monoclonal antibody specific to prion-protein. An Independent claim is included for a diagnosis kit, with an antibody against a native prion-protein as an internal control.
