CT device has matrix of pixel type detectors. Method has the following steps: from an output image, the pixels of the image are subjected to a number of re-projections at different projection angles; for each re-projection, the pixels of the output image are compared with a threshold value with only the pixels above the threshold level being retained. Correction data for calculation of a corrected final image are derived from the output image.
