Left and right-handed derailment guard profiles (16,17) are positioned parallel to and beside the rails (14) of the track (10), on the substructure (11,12). The space (20) defined by the profiles resp. a profile and a track bench, is filled with a hardening material (23), which adapts itself to profiles, substructure, and track bench. The profiles are connected to each by cross struts before filling. The filler is asphalt or concrete, and filled in to a height below the upper edge of the profiles.
