Device for increasing the input pressure of a pneumatic medium for use in pressure testing, rupture testing, etc., can be made with commercially available components to reduce production costs while offering a wide operating range
Device comprises a piston cylinder unit (2) with two cylinders (3, 4) and two pistons (3a, 4a) joined by a common piston rod (3b, 4b). A controlling unit comprises a multiple path valve (7) with a switching device in the form of a cam plate (5). The cam plate is mounted on the piston rod so that when the latter moves to either of its end positions the switching function of the cam plate is triggered.
