The measuring probe has a probe body, an input beam section and an output beam section consisting of common silver halide optical fiber (21) firmly connected to a cooled detector (26). The cylindrical lateral area of the silver halide fiber in a region of the probe body which has a radius smaller than the radius of the fiber can be brought in contact with the sample (14) and the contact area can be selected via the microscope (19,20). The beam input and output sections are connected through infrared beam which is conducted to the probe body for spectroscopic measurement of a solid sample through weakened total reflection.
