Time and position resolved representation of functional brain activities, involves varying correlation function to detect activity changes related to non-linear stimulation function coupling
Time and position resolved representation of functional brain activities, involves varying correlation function to detect activity changes related to non-linear stimulation function coupling
Physiological processes are stimulated in a patient using at least two non-correlating, mutually orthogonal stimulation functions (fS1(t), fS2(t)). Time and position-resolved nuclear resonance signals are generated (SMR(t)) using a pulse sequence to stimulate and read nuclear resonance signals which are then correlated using a correlation function orthogonal to the stimulation functions and varying the function to detect activity changes related to the non-linear coupling of the stimulation functions. An Independent claim is included for an arrangement for time and position-resolved representation of functional brain activities for a living being using magnetic nuclear spin resonance.
