Production of spectrally-sensitized Ag halide emulsions suitable for use in color photography involves a final precipitation step in which a silver salt solution is added to increase electrochemical potential
Production of spectrally-sensitized Ag halide emulsions is such that the last precipitation step comprises adding an Ag salt solution to increase the UAg value by -30mV, this being followed by de-salting the emulsion and then, when appropriate, spectrally sensitizing it.
