The swing has a longitudinal support body (10) nonrotatably fixed to a transverse support body (12). Suspension points (14-18) are provided on the two bodies, so that the body to be suspended can have a convex or a concave support surface to support a person. Preferably, the suspension points are arranged at opposite ends of each body. The support bodies may have round or oval cross-sections.
