Device for sealing opening in building works etc has sealing element adjoining circumferential edge of opening on outside and/or inside and tensioned by first pressure plate braced against second to take up reaction forces
The opening (2) is provided around the circumferential edge (2a) on the outer surface (2b) and/or in an inner surface with a sealing element (3) which rests on same and is adjoined by a first pressure plate (4) which produces the sealing force. This pressure plate can be tensioned against a second pressure plate (6) by a force member and either the first and/or second pressure plate absorbs the reaction forces. The sealing elements on the outside surface of the opening are made from elastic sealing rings of flat cross-section.
