PURPOSE: A stiffness improving method for a section of an inner support in a steel box girder continuous beam structure is provided to heighten stiffness and to prevent corrosion, noise and vibration in a steel box girder. CONSTITUTION: The stiffness improving method for a section of an inner support in a steel box girder continuous beam structure comprises the steps of: placing many steel box girder segments on an abutment and a pier, then connecting; placing concrete in a steel box type lower end from an inner support; ascending an inner support; placing floor slab concrete; after curing the floor slab concrete surface, descending the inner support.
