PURPOSE: In an operation of wet scrubber using NaOH, NH4OH and/or Mg(OH)2 as neutralization agents for the desulfurization of flue gas, the present invention is characterized in that the ion concentration of SO3 in circulation water is controlled optimally by adjusting water head of the circulation water according to operation ratio of boiler. This control method has advantages over conventional method that control ion concentration of SO3 in circulation water by adjustment of the amount of oxidizing air to be supplied. CONSTITUTION: A water head sensor(15) is provided to cooperated with a control valve(16) for circulation water drainage so that water head is maintained stably according to operation ratio of boiler. The operation ratio of boiler is measured by an operation ratio indicator installed at an ignition device(1), and oxidizing air is controlled to flow into wet scrubber system in constant. Once the water head sensor(15) is set according to changes in operation ratio of boiler, the control valve automatically keep water head stable. Under such case, as contact time between the oxidizing air and circulation water is determined by water head, it is possible to control oxidation degree of SO3 ion.
