PURPOSE: Organic montmorillonite is provided which is obtained by replacing the surface of montmorillonite with a nucleating organizing agent having nucleating function capable of inducing crystallization of polymer, and a polymer nanocomposite using the organic montmorillonite. CONSTITUTION: In organic montmorillonite which is obtained by cation substitution reaction using a Na-montmorillonite organizing agent, the organic montmorillonite is characterized in that the organizing agent is a nucleating organizing agent obtained from diisocyanate and polymer nucleating agent, wherein diisocyanate is one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of methylene bisphenyl isocyanate, 1,4-diisocyanatobutane, 1,6-diisocyanatohexane, 1,8-diisocyanatooctane, and 1,4-phenylene diisocyanate, the polymer nucleating agent is has a sorbitol group or xylitol group represented as in the following chemical formula 1: £Chemical Formula 1| where p is 0 or 1, n is 0 to 3, R is an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon numbers, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon numbers, a hydroxy group, a halogen group, alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon numbers-alkylthio group having 1 to 6 carbon numbers, and an alkylsulfoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon numbers.
