PURPOSE: A pet animal and plant management system and method is provided to put a microchip in a body of the pet animal and plant for systematically managing an owner, a manager, a pedigree and a disease history over the internet. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an ID chip(a), a plurality of sub management systems(1), and a main management system(2). The ID chip(a), including data on an owner, a manager, a pedigree and a disease history, is put into a body of a pet animal or plant. The sub management system(1) includes an ID decoder(11), a personal computer(12), and a modem(14). The sub management system(1) decodes the ID, offers data on the pet animal and plant to a web server(22) of the main management system(2) via the modem(14), or if necessary, receives data on a member or registered information for confirming the data over a web browser(13). The main management system(2) includes an SLP/PPP server host(21), the web server(22), a member data file(23), and a member history file(24). The SLP/PPP server host(21) connects the sub management system(1) to the main management system(2) over the internet when a user requests a connection via the modem(14). The web server(22), connected to the SLP/PPP server host(21), operates a home page for offering data on the pet animal or plant.
