The present invention relates to compounds of formula I, wherein ROne, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6And X are defined in the present invention. These compounds are selective modulators of the NPYl receptor. These compounds are useful for treating a number of CNS diseases, metabolic disorders, and peripheral disorders, in particular eating disorders and hypertension. Methods of treating such diseases and packaged pharmaceutical compositions are also provided. The compounds of the present invention are also useful as probes for localizing NPY1 receptors and as a reference material in NPY1 receptor binding assays. Methods of using such compounds in the study of localization of receptors are provided.;Formula I
