PURPOSE: Provided is a method of managing LD converter gas holder which enables to predict the holder level according to generation(recovery) and non-generation of the gas and provides these information to the display instruments. CONSTITUTION: The management method comprises: a calculating step of expected excess recovery volume by calculating the volume of accumulated recovery and the expected recovery and converting to the holder level; a converting step of the recovery volume to the holder level using the calibrating constant on the part of the holder pressure and the changing temperature; a calculating step of the use volume for the left time according to the above expected recovery volume; a converting step of the above use volume to the holder level; a calculating step of discharge volume considering the holder level at present, converted value of the level due to the expected recovery volume in the left time and the converted level value of the expected use volume of the left time; a calculating step of the minimum left level; a calibrating step of the pressure of the holder level and the temperature together with setting step of the minimum limit of the level and the holder level; a calculating step of the expected reaching time of the minimum level according to the minimum left level; a step of calculating input of the control volume according to the set holder level; and a displaying step of the above expected discharge time, the time of the minimum holder level and the control volume to be used.
