PURPOSE: A system is provided which promptly improves water quality of the lake at a relatively low cost by noticing that water quality of the lake can be improved by directly absorbing and removing phytoplankton which is a primary producer of a lake. CONSTITUTION: The system for removing phytoplankton of an eutrophic lake comprises a flow rate reduction device(1) for increasing a concentration of phytoplankton in water; a phytoplankton polluted water catchment structure(2) catching phytoplankton polluted water; a first purifier(3) filtering the caught inflow of the phytoplankton polluted water; a second purifier(4) concentrating the phytoplankton polluted water by filtering the filtered phytoplankton polluted water again; and a storage vessel(78) for discarding the filtered and concentrated material.
