PURPOSE: A pendulum generator and a self generating signal rod using the same are provided to accomplish high efficiency by employing a sensitively vibrating pendulum and effectively illuminate just by vibrating the signal rod. CONSTITUTION: A pendulum generator comprises a rotating rod(11), a bobbin(12), an elastic body(14) and a movable magnet(15). One end of the rotating rod(11) is movably coupled to a bottom of a housing(10) to form a rotating shaft(11a). The movable magnet(15) is a permanent magnet coupled to the other end of the rotating rod(11) to slide in the bobbin(12). The bobbin(12) has an outer wound coil(13) and an inner hollow. The movable magnet(15) performs relative movement to the wound coil(13) to generate induced electromotive force at the coil(13). One end of the elastic body(14) is fixed to the inner surface of the housing(10) and the other end of the elastic body(14) is coupled to the rotating rod(11) to give a returning force during rotation of the rotating rod(11).
