The registrant submits the public key and identification information of the public / private key pair to the registrar. The registrar shall determine whether the registrant is appropriate based on the provided identification information. The registrar digitally signs the public keys of the appropriate registrants and sends the signed public keys to the certificate authority. Alternatively, the registrant generates a hash card containing the registrant's public key and a hash of signatures and submits the hash card to the registrar through his career. The registrant then electronically submits the public key to the registrar. If the hash corresponds to the submitted public key, the registrar digitally signs the public key and sends the digitally signed public key to the certificate authority. Alternatively, the registrar generates a hash card containing the public key and a hash of signatures, and submits the hash card to the registrar in real-time. The registrant then electronically submits the public key to the registrar. If the hash corresponds to an electronically submitted public key, the registrar digitally signs the public key. The registrar sends a digitally signed public key to the certificate authority to authenticate the source of the encrypted information submitted by the registrant.
