PURPOSE: A method for researching the preference degree of on-line customers and performing target advertising using e-mail is provided to reduce the time period for connecting the selection of an existing target with target advertising and selecting targets, to grasp the propensity of customers and the effect of advertising by collecting the result of advertising via e-mail, and to perform e-mail target advertising by using the result of advertising. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of raising members as netizen member, a host member or an advertiser member of an advertising agency(s20), collecting profiles including e-mail addresses, passwords and personal information for prize and mileage provision and advertising cost receipt(s40), sending profile-based question e-mail for collecting the degree of preference and fancy to industries, products and advertisers of the members(s60), collecting the effect of advertising to the members(s80), and writing a profile-based report, a preference-based report and an advertising effect report by analyzing the profile, the degree of preference and the effect of advertising(s100). When the preference degree is collected, an advertising server automatically reflects the responses of the members on a preference degree database.
