Support element (34) has supports (12, 14) spanning a plane (16) to receive a further support element (20). The support element (34) is fixed to the front side of the supports in which a longitudinal edge of the support element runs vertical to the plane (16). The support element has a base element (40) which is supported by two consoles which have a first side with a hollow profile running parallel to the longitudinal edge of the base element and a second side running parallel to the side edge of the base element.
