To permit the emplacement of a processor (1) haze in a communication network (r) of the home automation, it is provided that the processor plf will be capable of managing the messages transiting on the network. For this purpose, the processor plf operates in two stages. In a first step (1), on a first part of the message, the processor plf determines whether the message is addressed to it as a function of rules enabling him to know if the addressee. Once it is known that it is the addressee, it is also known, because the address of the emitter of the signal is present in the message, to produce a handover instruction (8) . This switch is applied to a multiplexer (14) located at the input at the interface between the processor plf and the network in order to orient the data, and another part of the message to the input (5) is appropriate to this processor plf.
