The positional signaling unit has a static aero-beacon and mini-locator via satellite for life-saving in maritime, air and land accidents. It can be coupled to conventional life-jackets, sports garments and work clothes. It comprises a bottle containing high pressure helium (1), with a valve (2) allowing gas to pass through a plastic tube (3) once the accident has occurred. The tube is connected to a globe (4) which inflates and rises to a height of 30 meters, being connected to the clothing by a nylon cord (5). Connected to the globe is a lamp which emits luminous flashes and a mini-locator via satellite capable of marking the exact geographical coordinates of the person (6,7) involved.
