Method for maintaining proteingeneity and homogeneity of production cultures of atypical micobacteria for the production of antigen of atypical micobacteria (AAI), which includes preparing monoclones of production cultures with the method of the "exhausting" seeding and verifying proteingeneity thereof with the subsequent selection of typical, proteingenous clones. At that the effect of the "exhausting" seeding is achieved by growing cultures of micobacteria to a necessary concentration and by an irradiation thereof with gamma rays.
