The method for analysis of an electrocardiogram involves taking the electrocardiogram and its storage electronically, suppression of murmurs in the stored ECG tracks and identification of characteristic time points in the stored ECG tracks, the derivation of at least one cardiac time interval between the two characteristic time points. In a final stage, the coherence is defined between a relatively narrow segment around a specific characteristic time point in a first stored ECG-track and the corresponding narrow segment within another ECG track.
