The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising (i) a safe and pharmaceutically effective amount of abacavir or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof, (ii) a safe and pharmaceutically effective amount of lamivudine or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof, (iii) a safe and pharmaceutically effective amount of zidovudine or containing magnesium stearate, wherein abacavir, lamivudine and zidovudine are present in an amount of 30-70% by weight of the total composition and the amount of glidant is 0.05-5.0% by weight of the total composition. The composition of the invention comprises a homogeneous mixture of abacavir, lamivudine and zidovudine.
