Pressure activated valve for fire fighting installation - has inlet connectable to high pressure source with outlet and housing having channel connecting outlet having spindle arranged under influence of spring
An inlet (4) is connectable to the high pressure source (1) with an outlet (5) connectable to an out-going line, and a spindle (7) is movable between a stand-by position in which the spindle closes connection from the inlet to the outlet, and an activated position in which the spindle opens connection from the inlet to the outlet. The housing of the valve (3) comprises a channel (14) which connects the outlet of the valve to a liquid space (15) under is under the influence of a secondary liquid source (16) with a lower pressure than said high pressure source (1). The valve spindle (7) is arranged to the under the influence of a spring (13) acting in the opposite direction in relation to the pressure action of the liquid space (15) on the spindle (7). The pressure of the secondary liquid source (16) and the force of the spring (13) are mutually adapted in such a way that when the secondary liquid source (16) acts with full pressure on the spindle (7, 17).
