Use of an agriculturally acceptable hydrolyzable ester, process for controlling the expression of a target gene in a plant, plant gene expression system, plant cell, plant tissue or a plant, and agricultural composition
"USE OF AN AGRICOLLY ACCEPTABLE HYDROLYSABLE ESTER, PROCESS TO CONTROL THE EXPRESSION OF A TARGET GENE IN A PLANT, VEGETABLE GENE EXPRESSION SYSTEM, VEGETABLE CELL, VEGETABLE TISSUE OR AN AGRICULTURAL PLANT AND, AGRICULTURAL COMPOSITION". The use of an agriculturally acceptable hydrolyzable ester, such as a compound of formula (I), in which R ^ 1 ^ and R ^ 2 ^ are defined in the application, in the control of the expression of a plant gene, said control being carried out by a inducible promoter that requires, for activation, the presence of an exogenous chemical product that can comprise an alcohol, in which the hydrolysis of said agriculturally acceptable ester results in the production of said alcohol. Formulations of these esters are also described and claimed.
