Where the entertainment apparatus includes a storage unit that stores a device driver for a peripheral device outside a core. In order to make the peripheral device operable, a CPU causes an input / output processor to execute the device trigger based on a remote procedure call. Data transfer between the peripheral device and the CPU is performed by direct memory access according to a communication protocol that is normally used at least on the apparatus.
