"COMPOSITIONS, INCLUDING COMPOSITIONS OF VÉRNIX AND PROTEIN B ASSOCIATED WITH SURFACTANT, SYNTHETIC AND ANTIOXIDANT PROTEIN, AND SKIN PROTECTION PROTECTION AGAINST EXPOSURE TO THE ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION, THERAPY AND TREATMENT OF OVERHEATING, THERAPY AND TREATMENT OF ALTERATION. The composition can contain a natural or synthetic drug or can be manipulated to regulate transport properties. The medicine can be, for example, a protector against ultraviolet radiation or an antioxidant. Various compositions and uses of vernix, both natural and synthetic, are described. The compositions can be used in modalities such as skin protection, wound healing and restoration of epidermal barrier function.
