"ULTIMATE" HIGH PERFORMANCE "PLENUM" "HIGH PERFORMANCE" DATA CABLE, TWINTED, SIDED, CONNECTED, AND, PREPARATION OF A DATA CABLE, SIDE TWIN, PREPARED PROCESS The invention relates to connected, high performance twisted pair side data cables (20, 25, 30) having a high performance data cable (10A & B) containing at least four twisted pair cables (20, 25, 30), side shields, connected, and a process for preparing them. The attached side shielded twisted pair cables (20, 25, 30) preferably have a standard impedance deviation set to 20 C, of 4.5 or less, and contain at least four of the twisted pair cables (10), side shielded, connected. The twisted pair is laterally wound with a metal shield tape (16) and one of a metal, woven, or wire braid (18), with a tension providing the above. The tension is such that it provides a cross-sectional void space of less than 25% and preferably less than 18% of the cross-sectional area of the shielded, twisted pair cable. The tape 16 is laterally wound with an overlap of at least 10%. Preferably, the cable (20, 25, 30) has a capacity outside of 600 MHz and 1000 MHz. A high performance data cable (20, 25, 30) of at least UL camera category 5 is provided. 910 which has a non-fluorinated shell (19) and, between the shell (19) and the cable core, a temperature resistant flame retardant separation tape (27).
