"VIRAL INFECTION INHIBITION METHOD USE OF A MONOVALENT ANTIGUE AND NUTRIEOUS, ANOGEN DETECTION, MONOVALENT AND ANTIGUE DEFENSE, MONOVAL DETECTION, PHARMACEUTICAL OR COSMETIC COMPOSITION IDENTIFICATION OF AN ANTIGEN BINDING PROTEIN ". A method of inhibiting viral infection using a monovalent antigen binding protein comprising a single domain binding unit capable of binding to a virus is described. Preferably the protein is a heavy chain variable domain derived from a naturally light chain-deprived immunoglobulin. Also described are food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products comprising such proteins together with a method of selecting large population inhibitory proteins containing primarily non-inhibitory but infectious agent binding fragments.
