PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-dimensional gyroscope which indicates the relation between transitional inertia and rotational inertia connected to the violation of the conservation law of linear momentum of a mass center during an absolute elastic collision with a wall.;SOLUTION: In order to prove that one of basic laws of the classical mechanics is violated, a device is provided with a complicated device for making scientific researches. When this device is used, the two, three, or more times of collisions of the four-dimensional gyroscope can be observed and the comparison of theoretical calculation can be performed by using experimental data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
